On the Extremes of Good and Evil
“You once said your animal transfomation was a way to explore communication beyond language. Similarly my new installation, including the floor painting and all the objects placed over it, is conceived to explore art beyond language. It is composed of elements inspired by the deep sea, the home of creatures that survived the catastrophic impact that wiped out the dinosaurs, creatures that only survived thanks to the bacterial leftovers that sunk to the ocean.” (Hugo Canoilas, letter to Elise Lammer)
