Canoilas’ solo show Fables is still on view until Saturday, 1st February 2025.
In Fables, Canoilas presents an oneiric ecosystem of new potentially narrative works that suggest and unfold relational and multiple visions of uncertain futures in a world of the most uncanny visions, where primordial crustacean animals and embryonic-looking hybrid creatures co–exist and interconnect. But by no means can dreams be considered a mere escape from reality, it’s rather about bringing forth the real from its potentiality through imagination. (Andreia Santana)
